A US-based MNC is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their pioneering team at the Johor Bahru plant. You will play a key role in implementing and driving strategy to ensure excellent supply chain operations at the site.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure seamless operations across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics.
- Manage and oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and relationship management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to meet production and delivery schedules while minimizing waste.
- Lead supply chain planning activities, including demand forecasting, material requirements planning, and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and requirements.
- Support the application and renewal of the LMW license and ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, focusing on cost savings and risk mitigation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
- Address and resolve foreseeable/unforeseen operational challenges, including delays, shortages, or quality issues, to maintain service excellence.
- Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork within the organization and team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of international trade and compliance.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills.
