Position Responsibilities:
Procurement & Inbound Logistics Management:
- Coordinate and oversee inbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing, to ensure timely receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers to place procurement orders, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components in accordance with production schedules
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality standards and minimize disruptions.
Inventory Management:
- Utilize inventory management systems and implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to manage demand and generate accurate and timely reports for decision-making purposes.
Fulfilment
- Coordinate with fulfilment partners and distribution centers to manage order processing, picking, packing, and delivery including handling of returned deliveries.
- Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure efficient and on-time delivery to retail customers.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
