Job Summary The Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and systems. This role involves adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and technical specifications to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance and Repairs • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, ensuring timely repairs. • Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and parts replacements. 2. Equipment Management • Operate and test machinery to ensure it functions according to specifications. • Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades. • Ensure proper calibration and alignment of equipment to meet quality standards. 3. Compliance and Safety • Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations. • Conduct risk assessments before performing technical tasks. • Report and address any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly. 4. Team Collaboration • Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other departments to identify and resolve technical issues. • Provide technical support during production or operational processes • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or systems. 5. Documentation and Reporting • Maintain accurate records of technical activities, including service reports, maintenance schedules, and spare part usage. • Prepare incident reports for breakdowns and suggest preventive measures. Key Requirements 1. Education and Experience • Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in manufacturing or operations. 2. Technical Skills • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. • Familiarity with operating tools, diagnostic equipment, and software relevant to the industry. 3. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary. • Comfortable working in shifts and under pressure to meet deadlines.
