About the Job We are seeking a Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering to lead and oversee projects for high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate will excel in managing engineering works, coordinating with overseas clients, and utilizing advanced design tools such as Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling software. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet client demands. Job Responsibilities Mechanical Design Leadership Lead the design and development of high-precision metal components using Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling tools. Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation. Provide technical guidance to the design team to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards. Engineering Oversight Oversee all mechanical engineering activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and technical reviews. Ensure that engineering deliverables align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Resolve complex technical issues during the design, prototyping, and manufacturing phases. Client Management Act as the primary technical liaison for overseas clients, ensuring clear communication of project status, design updates, and requirements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Present design proposals, prototypes, and final solutions to clients, addressing their technical concerns. Innovation and Process Improvement Identify opportunities for innovation in design processes and methodologies. Optimize design workflows and manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the precision metal industry. Compliance and Documentation Ensure all designs and engineering activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including design files, test reports, and client communications. Qualifications & Experiences Needed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on high-precision metal components. Proficiency in Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling software. Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects and coordinate with international clients. Strong knowledge of material properties, machining processes, and manufacturing techniques for metal components. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
