STRUCTURAL SPECIALIST

1.Responsible for researching efficient and high-quality materials from overseas and manufacturing for large scale equipments and machineries processes, following the designs and specifications of the engineering team and design specialists. 2.Evaluate suppliers based on delivery speed for their products and services, price, and quality. 3.Negotiate with suppliers for product cost, delivery, and contract parameters. 4.Function as company purchasing agent for all direct and indirect materials. 5.Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage. 6.Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines. 7.Maintains and ensures the accuracy of the perpetual inventory. 8.Works with suppliers to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment. 9.Oversees receiving functions related to purchased parts and incoming supplies. 10.Identifies opportunities to reduce materials and consumable costs and charges. 11.Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods. 12.Assures write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventory.
