Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our Field Service team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for turbo machinery systems at various client sites. Reporting to the Fulfilment Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of gas turbine equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities Field Service Engineers are required to install, service or repair turbomachinery equipment. The repair and installation duties are performed at clients site situated onshore and/or offshore. Field Service Engineers the following responsibilities: - Installing / servicing turbomachinery equipment (gas turbine, gearbox, compressors, aux.) - Perform maintenance tasks and repairs on turbomachinery components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. This includes scheduled maintenance, routine servicing, and responding to emergency breakdowns. - Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems in turbomachinery systems. Identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and service visits. Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Report any significant findings or recommendations. - Willingness to travel extensively, both domestic and international, as required. Flexibility in working hours and working days to accommodate equipment maintenance plans and emergencies. Skill / Attributes The person will be representing the company during the site work. He/she must demonstrate good characteristics and professionalism. - Experience on Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Aero Derivative Gas Turbine, Gearbox, and other Turbomachinery equipment. - Experience working on General Electric Gas Turbines Fr5,6,7,9 and/or LM2500, LM6000 would be an added advantage. - Having excellent mechanical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
