**Job Title**: Data Annotation Specialist **Job Purpose**: Data annotation specialists play a critical role in helping companies identify patterns and enhance accessibility to content. They ensure data is meticulously reviewed, categorized, and tagged, contributing to AI and machine learning projects. Annotators work across various media formats such as videos, audios, maps, advertisements, images, and more, supporting accurate data classification. This role requires fluency in **Tagalog** to work on language-specific content for the Philippines market. **Key Responsibilities**: - Complete annotation requests accurately and within the designated timeframes. - Prioritize tasks and assist team members to meet client deadlines and maintain high quality standards. - Provide input on process improvements and assist in Quality Assurance (QA) and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) work. - Adhere to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and compliance with both client policies. - Mentor new joiners through the buddy program and participate in cross-functional training. - Stay informed on client policies, statutory requirements, and special handling procedures. - Work efficiently with various tools to maintain accuracy in content tagging and annotation processes. - Maintain a high level of grammatical and contextual accuracy, with minimal errors. - Understand and analyze less clear or technical information, even outside immediate expertise areas. - Collaborate with translators, project managers, and clients to resolve queries and ensure consistency. - Meet productivity and quality targets as per Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). - Maintain accuracy in investigative methods and consistently provide feedback for product improvements. - Collaborate effectively as part of a team, coordinating with clients and other stakeholders. - Update daily, weekly, and monthly reports and templates as required. **Skills & Qualifications**: - Strong understanding of client policies and guidelines. - Excellent research, analytical, and decision-making abilities. - Strong logical reasoning and attention to detail. - Proficiency in **Tagalog** (Philippines) is essential for this role. - Proven ability to work on tools with ease and accuracy. - Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
