About the role
What you need to know:
- Responsible for timely and accurate reporting requirements
- Managing a team and provide accounting guidance/support to finance teams, as required.
- Review financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the annual audit process, including liaising with external auditors
- Assist in tax preparation and filing.
- Support the team with AR/AP activities when required
- Liaise with Corporate counterparts on financial matters as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Controllership or in Audit field.
1-2 years experience in overseeing/managing a team.
Proficiency in financial reconciliation processes and techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Time and team management skills.
Prior experience within Big 4 or accounting / auditing firm is an added advantage.
SAP experience is a plus point.
