Founded in 2014 in the Maldives, Coffee Lab Trading opened its first outlet “Family Room Coffee” in Hulhumale’ with a simple vision, to redefine the local coffee culture. We introduced the concept of a “Third Space Café”—a welcoming environment that bridges home and work—and brought Specialty Coffee to the forefront of the Maldivian experience for the first time.

Our dedication to quality and innovation earned us the distinction of being the first company in the Maldives to have an SCA-certified instructor and an SCA-certified Q Grader for coffee roasting. This allowed us not only to perfect our craft but also to provide industry-leading training and internationally recognised certifications and diplomas to our staff.

Over the past decade, we have expanded to three outlets and established a dedicated coffee roastery in the Maldives, ensuring that every cup we serve meets the highest standards of excellence.

Investing in Your Growth:

• SCA Certified Diploma: Earn a globally recognized Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certified diploma (Level 1 – Level 2 – Level 3). Training is provided by our in-house trainer & certified instructor, and we’ll even cover your exam fees after 1 year of service!
• International Training: Ensure your success with gaining training and experience through trainings offered in our outlet in the Maldives!
• Comprehensive On-boarding Program: Start strong with 1 week of hands-on training designed to set you up for success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the Barista and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in preparing and organizing customer orders for collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the indoor and alfresco dining areas.
• Clean, wash, and stack plates, utensils, and other kitchenware.
• Organize and restock supplies to keep work areas efficient and tidy.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
• Provide general assistance to the team during busy periods to maintain smooth workflow.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and enhance service quality.

Job Type: Part-Time (Shift Work).
Outlet Operating Hours: 8 AM to 8 PM.

Outlet location: Ampang

Working Hours: 7-hour shifts (rotational).
Days Off: 4 days off per week.

Job Types: Part-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month

Expected hours: 21 per week
