The Opportunity
- Oversee Workday integration with payroll systems, ensuring seamless data flow, manage system updates, testing, and troubleshoot payroll interfaces.
- Manage payroll processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, partner with external vendors for timely payroll delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture, and providing training and growth opportunities.
- Manage relationships with payroll outsourcing vendors, ensuring SLA adherence, performance reviews, and effective contract negotiations or transitions.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) teams to align payroll processes with business goals and provide insights for compensation planning and budgeting.
- Ensure payroll processes meet regulatory standards, drive automation and process improvements, and educate stakeholders on legislative changes impacting payroll.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of payroll management experience, specifically in multi-country operations.
- Proficient in Workday integration with payroll systems and managing outsourced payroll vendors.
- Strong leadership experience in managing both in-person and virtual teams.
- In-depth knowledge of global payroll practices and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication abilities.
