Job Description
- To carry out fluid sampling and analysis duties at onshore and offshore locations within Malaysia and overseas as required.
- Responsible for interfacing with the client and producing detailed high-quality reports. He will also be responsible for pre and post-job equipment preparation, servicing, and calibration as required.
- Occasionally may be required to assist in the laboratory duties.
- Provide service on onshore and offshore analysis, including field sampling, wellsite analysis and/or PVT laboratory analysis.
- Be fully conversant with Group’s goals, objectives, strategy and business environment, Personnel and Equipment Scheduling
- Attend internal and external training where required
- Preparation and QC of reports for both field versions and final job reports
- Maintain a quality and safety awareness culture
- Adhere to SGS Code of Integrity policy and client confidentiality agreement
- Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management
Qualifications
- Diploma in chemistry, engineering or related field from recognized institution.
- At least 1 to 2 years’ working experience in similar capacity.
