Junior Draftman

Responsibility:

Create Drafting Drawings:

• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Prepare schematic diagrams, design layouts, and blueprints based on project specifications.
• Update and modify existing drawings as per the feedback and revisions from senior staff.

Collaboration:

• Work under the direction of senior engineers, or project managers to understand project requirements and ensure drafting accuracy.
• Coordinate with other team members (e.g., engineers, designers, and project managers) to ensure timely and accurate drawings.
• Address design changes or revisions as communicated by project leads.

Technical Documentation:

• Create, update, and maintain drafting documents and records.
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports and specifications for various stages of the project.

Quality Control:

• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they meet project standards and specifications.
• Perform revisions and corrections on drawings to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

Training & Development:

• Continuously improve skills and knowledge in drafting techniques, design principles, and CAD software.
• Participate in training and workshops as necessary to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Qualification :

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldAlternatively, relevant experience in a similar role can be considered.

Experience :

Previous experience as an Engineer or a similar role.

Previous internship or work experience in drafting or design is a plus,but not required for entry-level candidates.

Have work experience in sheet metal, etc laser cut, turret punch, bending and welding

Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks,or similar).

Basic understanding of design principles and technical drawings.

Skills (if required) :

In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software

Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
