Commis / Kitchen Helper

• Ensure all ingredients are freshly prepared and ready on time.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the correct recipe and in the correct quantity.
• Ensure all dishes reach the hot plate or pass with the correct garnish, portion, size, and presentation as prescribed.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the section at all times.
• Treat all staff under your supervision fairly and with courtesy.
• Ensure all stock is kept under optimum conditions.
• Promptly communicate any anticipated shortages to the head chef.
• Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.

Job Requirement

• Minimum of SPM/PMR.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Willing to work weekends and selected public holidays.
• Able to work on shifts and long hours.
• Able to multitask.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Enthusiastic, courteous, and helpful to colleagues and guests.
• Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
