Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for tendering purposes
Analyzing project costs and variances, and providing recommendations to improve profitability
Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Measuring and valuing work completed, and processing progress payments
Identifying and managing project risks, and implementing cost control measures
Providing regular cost reports to project stakeholders
Supporting the project team with procurement and expediting activities

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in the M&E sector
Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, cost management principles, and quantity surveying practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
