Game Programmer

A game programmer should be self-motivated, energetic team player able to efficiently prototype new game systems and bring them to a high level of polish. Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with other departments to ensure art supports a gameplay-first player experience • Foster and maintain effective relationships inside and outside the art department • Come up with innovative ways to solve problems quickly to unblock other teams • Be a jack of all trades when necessary to generate the largest impact • Ensure art team is focused on making art optimized for performance as well as quality. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, other comparable degree area, or comparable experience • 2+ years of professional video game programming experience • Fluent in C++ and Python • Flexible to learning other languages and software. • Able to create tools to help improve pipeline and optimize workflow for artists. • Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting skills • Experience working with GIT, SVN or perforce • Have a great interest in games • Experience in web development is a plus
