TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Responsibilities: 1. Design stable and reliable tester on time according to development schedule. 2. Strong background in design and technical engineering preferable in electrical/electronics hardware design. 3. Responsible for functional test development and provide test support during NPI product builds. 4. Experience in RF product testing and analysis and good understanding of RF hardware and specification. 5. Develop test software for sub-assembly and top level assembly test. 6. Optimize test cycle time, yield improvement and resolve compatibility issues. 7. Co-ordinate various test related activities in parallel to ensure the success of various projects assigned. 8. Develop technical documents such as schematics, design document, test procedures. 9. Work with external test vendor and customer on test matter, test capacity study and tester RFQ. 10. Establish trouble shooting guide and setup the functional test equipment. 11. Work closely with product designer/engineer to develop test solutions for new products. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess Degree or Master in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. 2. Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing test environment, preferably in a Test & Development field. 3. Strong knowledge in Analog and Digital circuitry definitely will be advantage. 4. Knowledge of FCT test development (hardware/software). 5. Working knowledge of FCT test instruments - applications and usage. 6. Good design software skills (Labview, C/C++ programming & Altium/protel pcb design). 7. Knowledge of RF test methodologies and use of RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, Noise figure Meter and Network Analyzer. 8. Experience in RF testing/equipment handling and product characterization. 9. In-depth understanding in analyzing electrical signals during test and measurement activities. 10. Familiar with National Instruments and Agilent/Keysight test equipment. 11. Excellent technical knowledge in electronics circuit and troubleshooting. 12. Excellent communication in English and customer relationship skills.
