Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst (JUNIOR)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the highest quality standards for the SunMed GO 2.0 solution, including its mobile app and web application components. The primary focus of this role is on manual testing, with the potential to expand into automated testing in the future. The QA Analyst will collaborate closely with product owners and app developer teams, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our software. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough functional and regression testing on iOS, Android, API, and web applications. • Execute manual test cases and document any defects or inconsistencies in the software. • Collaborate with product owners and app developer teams to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Report, track, and manage defects, ensuring issues are resolved before product release. • Provide regular updates on testing progress, including test results, defect counts, and quality metrics. • Assist in developing test plans and test cases based on requirement documents and user stories. • Maintain a focus on privacy and security guidelines, ensuring these are consistently applied in testing processes. • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to provide insights from a QA perspective. Skills and requirements : • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 6 months to 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in mobile and web applications. • Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies and best practices. • Ability to derive test cases from requirement documents and user stories. • Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high standards in software quality. • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Preferred Experience: • Experience working with Agile Scrum methodology is a plus. • Knowledge of automation tools is beneficial but not required at this stage.
