Plan, manage, and oversee road maintenance and infrastructure projects from initial planning through to successful completion. Coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Monitor project progress, proactively address challenges, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks. Develop and review engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications for road maintenance, repair, and improvement initiatives. Ensure all designs are in strict compliance with JKR standards, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to design teams, actively participating in design review and approval processes. Conduct routine site inspections to oversee construction and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality benchmarks. Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols at all project sites. Anticipate and identify potential site issues, providing timely and practical solutions to minimize disruptions. Prepare detailed project reports, including updates on progress, challenges encountered, and recommended actions for stakeholders and management.
