Angular Front End Developer

Qualifications and requirements Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in front-end development with Angular (including TypeScript and RxJS). Proficiency in C# for building and integrating with APIs. Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Domain Knowledge: Experience in developing solutions for cross-border remittance, payments, or financial services. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the fintech industry, such as AML/CFT standards. Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading front-end development teams, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance management. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Problem Solving and Optimization: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing high-performance applications. Experience with modern build tools and libraries such as Webpack, Babel, and Angular CLI. Other Skills: Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Knowledge of secure coding practices for handling sensitive financial data. Preferred Qualifications Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker). Experience with mobile-friendly web design and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). Key Responsibilities 1. Application Development: o Lead the development of modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular. o Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate with APIs built on C#. o Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, scalability, and security to support real-time, high-volume cross-border transactions. 2. Technical Leadership: o Guide and mentor a team of front-end developers, promoting best practices in coding, design, and testing. o Drive the adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance team productivity and product quality. 3. Collaboration: o Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. o Ensure smooth integration between the front-end and back-end systems, maintaining end-to-end system reliability. 4. Code Quality and Testing: o Implement and enforce coding standards and conduct regular code reviews. o Write unit tests and support end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability of front-end applications. 5. Innovation and Optimization: o Stay updated with the latest trends in front-end development and remittance technology. o Optimize applications for performance, ensuring minimal latency and maximum usability, even in low-bandwidth environments. 6. Compliance and Security: o Ensure front-end solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, including AML/CFT guidelines. o Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
