The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily operations and projects, ensuring safety and compliance with Air Liquide standards and local regulations. You responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities across sites, managing and training contractor teams, performing equipment maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and maintaining spare parts inventory for efficient plant operations.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Air Liquide standards, rules, and local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the enforcement of HSE initiatives and compliance programs.
  • Implement administrative practices to meet regulatory requirements for plant operations.
  • Liaise with local authorities to maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel across all Air Liquide Malaysia sites to plan and execute maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and prioritize maintenance needs for site equipment.
  • Allocate manpower and tools to effectively support maintenance activities.
  • Drive improvements in plant reliability.
  • Assist engineers in providing training and evaluations for contractor workers.
  • Offer ongoing guidance and supervision to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Plan and execute maintenance tasks based on the Maintenance Program (e.g., MAXIMO).
  • Monitor equipment conditions and report abnormalities to reporting supervisors/managers.
  • Ensure timely and proper execution of all maintenance work.
  • Attend breakdowns and unplanned maintenance activities promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure tools and consumables are properly stored and inventory records are consistently updated.
  • Monitor tool conditions and report issues as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly warehouse stock checks and update stock master lists for incoming and outgoing parts.
  • Maintain timely updates for all inventory transactions.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting electrical systems, static and rotating equipment, and instrumentation components.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical and operational challenges efficiently.
