- Plan and organize activities that promote motor, social, and cooperative skills, as well as confidence.
- Encourage language development through storytelling, songs, role play, and conversations.
- Lead creative activities like art, drama, music, and physical fitness.
- Observe children to track progress and identify any developmental, emotional, or health issues.
- Monitor children’s health, safety, and nutrition, and identify factors affecting their progress.
- Supervise children to ensure safety and resolve conflicts.
- Assist children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Discuss children's progress and concerns with parents and staff, and refer them to other services when needed.
- Work together with other professionals supporting young children.
- Candidate must possess at least PERMATA/ KAP, Diploma or Degree is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.
- Prior experience working with young children (e.g., as a teaching assistant, daycare worker, or in a preschool setting) is often preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification may be required or needed within a certain time frame after hiring.
