Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service, guest satisfaction, and high standards. Support the General Manager in implementing and maintaining SOPs. Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional hospitality and uphold the restaurant's standards. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer inquiries to maintain an efficient flow of operations. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure positive resolutions. Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies. Schedule staff scheduling, performance reviews, and recruitment when necessary. Manage staff attendance to maintain operational efficiency. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in food and service quality. Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback for management review. Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in fine dining or upscale restaurants. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Japanese is a plus. Well-versed in managing restaurant operations. Customer-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
