Team Leader - Foundry

Coordinate the production activities to ensure that all activities can be delivered on the agreed timeline. * To optimize the productivity and efficiency of the section through effective liaison with other areas of the plant. * To plan and organised the activities of the personnel in all sections through the appropriate delivery schedules. * To co-ordinate the use of resources within their sections in a safe, effective and efficient manner. * Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working order. * To monitor compliance with the applicable Bradken’s Occupational Health and Safety procedures ensuring a safe place of work for employees. * To continually monitor and assess the competence of employees in their section. * To record and report the output and quality of work carried out in their section. * Report to the superior of problems encountered in the sections with the intent of improving quality and productivity. * To review the work performance of their section employees and recommend opportunities for their development. * To safely carry out all tasks in accordance with company work practices. * To ensure that all staff under their control actively participate in the ongoing process of improving the environmental performance of the plant with specific mention to housekeeping, waste production, recycling, spillage, noise and dust emissions. * To ensure work carried out complies with the applicable customer specification.
