Maintenance Technician

GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS : 1. Responsible of executing and implementing instructions given by the immediate superior. 2. Responsible of running and assisting the company's production or operation. 3. Responsible of striving towards achieving output targets and favourable qualities. 4. Responsible of supporting company's operation or production activities towards achieving its objectives. 5. Responsible of acknowledging and obeying the Company's Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety & Health Management System, company policies, rules and regulations, etc. 6. Responsible of dealing with confidential matters, business affairs and trade secrets of the company. SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS : 1. To perform scheduled preventive maintenance, set-up, test-run and trouble shooting on the assigned machine. 2. To train Operators in the proper working procedures and specifications as well as provide assistance to them while they are operating the other machine. 3. To provide minor and major repair (both mechanical and electrical) on all the section machines and facilities when required and to feedback on the problems encountered to the supervisor and maintenance department. 4. To perform report for Daily Production Report and downtime reports on the machine assigned. 5. To keep and maintain all tools/machines given in good/safe condition. 6. To maintain good housekeeping or the machines assigned at all time. 7. To ensure proper materials control and recording. 8. To optimize productivity and quality of the section process and feedback on possible improvement required to the Engineers. 9. To follow all SOPs strictly. 10. To perform scheduled preventive maintenance for pumps, blower and motors. 11. To setup, maintain, and trouble shooting for CWTP and WWTP. 12. To provide pumps, motor, and piping leaking repair at CWTP and WWTP and feedback problems encountered to the Supervisor. 13. To complete shift checklist and provide daily report. 14. To be responsible for plating and backend equipment availability in term of cost, delivery, and quality. 15. To be responsible for operation of equipment in supporting plating and backend operation and cost control. 16. To be responsible for the inventory management on all the plating and backend equipment spare parts. 17. To ensure good housekeeping in plating and backend maintenance room. 18. To troubleshoot for plating and backend equipment related issue and discuss with with supervisor and/or vendor on the improvement project. 19. To execute any other duties assigned by superior from time to time. JOB REQUIREMENTS : 1. Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. 2. Preferably 3 years working experience. 3. Able to work shift and stay back for overtimes.
