Key Responsibilities · Supervision & Leadership: Manage a team of tooling technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet production and safety standards. · Tool Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of tools and equipment, ensuring they function at peak efficiency. · Scheduling & Planning: Coordinate tooling schedules to align with production needs, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. · CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, AutoCAD) to produce parts to precise specifications · Setup & Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other related machinery · Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machining issues, optimizing tool paths and machining strategies for quality and efficiency. Qualifications · Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the related for this position · Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tooling, machining, and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software · Technical Skills: Proficiency in G-code programming, CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks), and knowledge of CNC machine operations. · Leadership Abilities: Proven experience managing teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. · Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing complex tooling processes. · Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions.
