JOB BRIEF The Business Analyst strengthens the capabilities of the professional services team with the essential skillsets in business process analysis and project management. In order to fit the company’s management strategic objectives, the Business Analyst helps the professional services team to research and develop the best practices of project handling, documentation controlling and other relevant tasks. The Business Analyst must possess excellent communication and analytical skills to assist customers in gathering and resolving their business problems. RESPONSIBILITIES · To involve in both external and internal projects with recognized business analysis skillsets such as defining user stories, building use cases, business requirements and gaps analysis, scopes of business & system solutions determination, anticipating on any changes of scopes and requirements, prepare solution proposals, building troubleshooting guides, define test scenarios & test cases, coordinate/perform SIT, conducting UAT and training events with functional teams to the clients. · Act as a bridge or liaison between functional and technical groups by aligning business needs with IT capabilities. · Maintain necessary documents to facilitate the interaction between users and system. · Coordinate with customers and technical team to facilitate communication between both parties. · Conduct debriefing with respective technical team whenever there is an update from customers. · Conduct and organize functional/technical gap analysis with the team. · Prepare test scripts/test plans/test cases and perform system testing/UAT on deliveries. · Any other duties as may be assigned or required by the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS Education and Qualifications · Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent. Relevant Experience · Minimum 3 years of experience in project implementation of IT software, with IT knowledge and the capabilities of understanding IT concepts in terms of application tier and database tier. · Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst · Experience in either fleet management system, loyalty management system, oil & gas retail, retail and ecommerce, payment gateway field would be a plus. · Experience in 3rd party system integration would be a plus. · Keen eye on UI/UX design would be a plus. · Experience in working in agile environment will be a plus. Skills and Knowledge · Able to handle multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines. · Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of customers’ business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. · Possess project management and business analysis skills. · Possess strong organization and analytical skills. · Able to communicate with different audiences and at all levels of the company. · Business process-oriented and detail-oriented. · Energetic, confident and assertive, customer-driven, eager to learn, have initiative and good working attitude. · A good team player. · Proactive, motivated and willing to absorb new concepts.
