Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals. Conduct repairs or replacements of faulty components, such as motors, belts, bearings, and sensors, to restore functionality. Test machinery after repairs to ensure proper operation and quality output. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or performance issues, utilizing knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems. Analyze symptoms, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to address underlying problems effectively. Collaborate with engineering or maintenance teams to resolve complex issues and implement long-term solutions. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for machines to minimize unplanned downtime and prolong equipment lifespan. Inspect and maintain critical components, such as motors, gears, bearings, and hydraulic systems, according to established maintenance procedures. Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts usage, to track machine performance and compliance with maintenance standards. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
