Clerk of Work (Civil & Structural Engineering)

Job description • Supervising and coordinating all civil and structural works on site to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and relevant regulations • Monitoring construction progress and quality, and reporting any issues or changes to the project team • Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining detailed records of work completed • Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any technical or logistical challenges • Providing technical support and guidance to the site team as needed • Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met on site Requirements • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Clerk of Works or similar role in civil and structural engineering projects • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards • Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts • Proficient in using construction management software and tools • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills • Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
