Job description Responsibilities: Preferably Purchasing type qualification with at least 5+ years’ working experience. Recognized as a procurement professional other skills required: 1. A good technical appreciation of the range of procurement categories 2. Excellent analytical skills, process driven 3. Excellent interpersonal skills 4. Driven and high level of integrity Dedicated tasks: Perform price negotiation with customer to achieve best deal inclusive of terms and conditions. Track cost-saving initiatives. Propose suppliers to participate in RFQ / e-bidding. Evaluate RFQ responses from both aspects of commercial and financial value. Prepare recommendation reports on open quotation outcome to requestors. Conduct checks on prices and specifications and prepare spreadsheets with price comparisons and other facts about each supplier for review by Division Head/ Department Head/ Section Head Assist Head to prepare correspondences for communication with external parties or respective SBGs/SFGs To assist with Purchase Order fulfillment. To assist in managing the e-Procurement system enhancement including performing SIT &UAT. To assist in troubleshooting e-Procurement system issues Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits. Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk Experience with MS Office and data programs Familiarity with administrative duties Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner Typing speed and accuracy Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents Apply data program techniques and procedures Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations Scan documents and print files, when needed Keep information confidential Respond to queries for information and access relevant files Comply with data integrity and security policies Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions Skills Needed: Procurement Sourcing & Category Management, Contract Management, Negotiation and Vendor Management. Microsoft Office, User Acceptance Test (UAT), SIT, QA Manual, Jira, data warehouse testing, ETL Test.
