Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in SQL Server, .NET, and MVC frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend systems that power our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, optimize performance, and ensure code quality while adhering to best practices. Key Responsibilities Application Development Design and implement backend services and APIs using .NET frameworks and SQL Server. Develop scalable and secure MVC-based solutions to meet business requirements. Database Management Design, optimize, and maintain complex database structures using SQL Server. Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure efficient data processing. Monitor and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability. Code Quality & Best Practices Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards. Implement design patterns, object-oriented principles, and MVC architecture effectively. Collaboration & Leadership Work collaboratively with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes. System Maintenance · Troubleshoot and resolve backend and database issues promptly. · Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and frameworks to recommend improvements. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in .NET Framework/Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC. Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization and database design. Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration. Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools. Additional Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus. Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
