Trademark Executive

1.Providing consultancy services to clients in IP rights, in particular on trademarks, copyright, and industrial design rights. 2.Conducting trademark searches and drafting trademark search reports. 3.Drafting submissions or arguments in response to office actions. 4.Attending hearing to overcome objections. 5.Ensuring that all responses to office actions and enquiries from clients on trademark, industrial design and copyright filing matters are handled in a timely manner, without missing any deadlines. 6.Drafting and reviewing simple agreements. 8.To liaise with paralegals in the Department to ensure all instructions undertaken from clients with regards to filing and prosecution of applications under portfolio given are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, at the quality standards instituted by the Firm. 9.To liaise with Manager and Assistant Manager of the Department to ensure systems and templates are created and up to date to increase the productivity and efficacy of the Department. 10.Writing articles and attending networking events. 11.Maintaining knowledge of trends, developments and legislative rulings impacting IP administration, keep up to date on procedural changes, perform research to clarify IP rules and serve as an expert on IP procedures and regulations. 12.Planning and leading projects for the Department, ensuring the projects are executed successfully and all objectives are met. 13.Observing high quality of works and maintaining the standards instituted by the Firm.
