Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Policy Development
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead the creation and execution of HR policies, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and local legal requirements.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent in tech, engineering, and creative fields.
- Work closely with department heads to understand workforce needs and ensure timely and effective hiring.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a positive workplace culture by organising team-building events, and recognition programmes, and championing employee well-being.
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies that reflect VTF’s values of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
- Performance Management & Development
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth and organisational goals. o Lead initiatives for employee training and development, with a focus on leadership, technical skills, and personal growth.
- Compensation & Benefits Management
- Oversee compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring they remain competitive and motivate high performance.
- Recommend and manage employee incentives, wellness programmes, and other perks tailored to the needs of a tech company.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including overseeing payroll administration and employee contracts.
- Manage HR-related risks, including employee relations, legal issues, and safety compliance.
- Leadership & C-Suite Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights on people management and organisational structure.
