Facility Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures and electrical equipment.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure smooth depots and warehouses operation.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Coordinate breakdown repair & preventive maintenance of utility equipment and system.
- Develop facilities & maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- To carry out project management, cost saving projects, building maintenance, installation, and re-layout activities.
- Collecting data and develop an accurate analysis for facility equipment reliability improvement and energy efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing external contractors for repairs and renovations.
- Ensure all safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, security cameras) are in working order.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the facility.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
- Assist in rearranging furniture and equipment to optimize space utilization.
- Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report and address any potential hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain records related to maintenance, cleaning, and facility operations.
- Track and report any equipment or maintenance expenses.
- To coordinate and implement plant energy and water saving program
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- To liaise with Government for license and permit renewal.
- Assist in preparing reports for management.
Other Duties:
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by the HSSE and Facility manager or supervisor.
- Be available for occasional evening or weekend shifts, especially during events or emergencies.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- SPM/Diploma @ vocational training or certification in facility management is additional advantage.
- Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Prior experience in facility management, maintenance, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven electrical technician skills with relevant certifications.
- Strong problem-solving activities and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
