We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead and oversee the operations of our food and beverage services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, fine dining, and a deep understanding of local customer preferences and market trends in Malaysia. This role demands a leader who can optimize revenue, enhance guest experiences, and ensure smooth, efficient operations across all food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and inspire the food and beverage teams, including kitchen, service, and bar staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance service quality, culinary skills, and operational efficiency.
Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Drive food and beverage sales through effective strategies, ensuring profitability while maintaining high service standards.
Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement promotions and events that resonate with the local customer base.
Regularly assess sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and take necessary actions to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure menu offerings are of the highest quality, diverse, and align with the brand’s standards.
Innovate and adapt offerings to meet changing market demands and enhance the overall guest experience.
Continuously monitor guest feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement in service quality and offerings.
Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest experiences by training staff to exceed expectations.
Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat business.
Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets and efficient cost control measures.
Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations to maintain optimal cost control while delivering high-quality products.
Regularly review financial reports and make recommendations for cost-effective improvements and resource optimization.
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all food and beverage operations.
Monitor and enforce operational standards across all outlets to maintain consistent quality and guest satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry best practices and ensure the business adheres to relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Director or in a similar senior leadership role, with a background in fine dining and sales management.
Strong understanding of the Malaysian food and beverage market, including local customer preferences and trends.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Experience with budgeting, financial management, and cost control in an F&B environment.
Ability to innovate, adapt, and respond to changing market conditions.
A passion for delivering exceptional food, service, and guest experiences.
Degree or diploma in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
