Legal Intern

AVEVA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Legal Intern to join our APAC team in May 2025. This is a 3 months internship, based in Kuala Lumpur office and reports into Legal Director, India & SEA. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from the APAC Legal and Contract Management team, with exposure to AVEVA’s contract life cycle management process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be supervised by a Senior Legal Counsel located in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research – conducting research on laws and regulations

  • Contract management tasks – assist in the end-to-end process of the contract life cycle management

  • Contract review – supervised review of contracts and contracts amendments

  • Assist in legal projects – these responsibilities vary depending on the project

  • Any others as may be designated by the day-to day supervisor

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Law degree and have good research, writing, and interpersonal skills

  • Computer proficient including MS office

  • Good command of spoken and written English – working proficiency in Chinese / Japanese / Korean or any other Asian language would be an advantage

  • Attention to details and a team player

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
