Maintenance / Technician

A maintenance worker maintains and repairs buildings, equipment, and systems. They may also perform routine cleaning and landscaping. Responsibilities Inspect: Regularly inspect equipment, systems, and buildings to identify issues Troubleshoot: Analyze problems and determine what repairs are needed Repair: Perform general repairs, such as fixing drywall, doors, or plumbing Maintain: Perform routine maintenance on systems, such as air conditioning, heating, and electrical systems Clean: Clean and maintain facilities, including floors, elevators, and entryways Landscape: Perform landscaping work, such as cutting grass, trimming hedges, and clearing debris Assess safety: Ensure safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and smoke alarms, are in good working condition Schedule repairs: Plan and schedule repairs, including minor repairs and repairs that require a specialist Order supplies: Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance Maintain records: Keep a record of maintenance and repair tasks Follow safety rules: Comply with all safety rules and regulations
