Students and Career Development

1.Students orientation a)Plan and prepare for orientation activities for new students b)Coordinate orientation activities with faculties/centres, clubs/societies. 2.Students activities a)Provide advice and guides to students in planning for activities (including proposal). b)Liaise with external bodies (authorities and organization's) whenever necessary for the activities. c)Prepare budget for respective activities. d)Advice students on how to source/raise funds for activities planned. e)Accompany students during the activities and monitor their attendance and participation. f)Conduct surveys on activities conducted. 3.Students counseling and guidance Arrange for students to obtain guidance in various aspects during their study period. The executive officers also receive and process feedback from students. 4.Students career and welfare Make arrangements with organizations to assist students in need of counseling in exploring and identifying various career opportunities upon completion of their study through programs such as Career Day, career talks/seminars, and interviews and resume writing workshops. 5.Community services Assist in planning, scheduling and providing guidance and assistance for various community services to be organized by students clubs and societies.
