QC Assistant

Job Descriptions:

• Perform required quality control inspection according to the HACCP plan, Quality Plan, work instruction, product specification and relevant standard procedure to ensure product (raw material, packaging material, in-process and finished goods) and process conform to the requirement. Any out of specification situation, to on hold or reject accordingly and further communicate to the relevant personnel.
• Perform sampling of products includes raw material, packaging material, in-process, finished goods and utilities such as water according to the sampling plan with method as in the standard procedure. Ensure clear labelling of sample to prevent mix-up. Ensure accurate sampling for retention sample to be kept.
• Accurate and clear reporting line inspection activities and highlight to the superior in the situation of out of specification.
• Perform product on hold processes and tagging of on hold pallet according to the standard procedure on any material which do not meet specification, highlight to the Production Supervisor or relevant personnel to take immediate action to prevent further defective products.
• Perform hygiene scrutinization on plant operators and production floor to ensure hygiene level fulfil required standard. Any non-compliance to be highlighted to the respective personnel and his/her superior for necessary immediate correction.
• Communicate to the QC Supervisor and fellow QC personnel to achieve good teamwork which included shift change on any issues to be followed up, any arising issues and outstanding task to be performed, the effective utilization of notice board and logbook as communication tool.
• Support the implementation of food safety and quality management system as required such as data analysis, filing and documentation.
• Undertake additional assignment and task as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum work experience of at least 1 year in food manufacturing; has basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and basic laboratory analysis techniques and knowledge.
• This is rotational shift job based.
• Possesses high accuracy skills & integrity skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge about industry products & processes.
• Responsible.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
