What's the role?

As a Web Designer at ana tomy, you’ll play a key role in shaping the online experience for our users. You’ll design and enhance our digital presence, ensuring our e-commerce platform and other digital touchpoints are intuitive, visually compelling, and aligned with our bold brand identity.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for great design and user-centric solutions, eager to collaborate with a diverse and talented team.

As a Web Designer we’ll expect:

Create, improve, and maintain user-friendly, visually appealing website designs.
Use Shopify as the main e-commerce platform to build and manage online stores.
Streamline and optimize processes, such as checkout workflows, inventory management systems, and customer support tools, to improve customer user experience and backend team operations.
Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to design website layouts, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
Create compelling design layouts and landing pages for product launches and campaigns.
Translate ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and interactive design solutions.
Ensure the website is responsive, fast-loading, and accessible across all devices.
Monitor user behavior using analytics tools integrated within Shopify and optimize backend processes, such as improving inventory management and order fulfillment workflows, to enhance sales performance.
Edit images to fit website thumbnails and other formats as needed.
Optimize visuals and content for better user engagement and conversion rates.
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts.
Stay updated with web design trends, tools, and best practices, including responsive design, accessibility standards, and emerging e-commerce technologies, to drive innovation.

Requirement
You'll succeed in this role if you:

Have 2–3 years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio of work, ideally showcasing e-commerce projects or designs for lifestyle and consumer goods brands.
Are proficient in Shopify (or other related platforms), with a solid understanding of its capabilities and customization options.
Possess proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Understand front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.
Have an eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly designs.
Are highly organized, process-driven, and a problem-solver.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.
Are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team setting.
