Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for managing daily administrative and HR duties for the SPC business unit. This includes assisting the HR Manager and Executive with clerical and administrative support related to recruitment, record maintenance, payroll processing, and employee support. The role also acts as a liaison between HR and employees to help achieve business unit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily operations of HR functions and duties.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain and update digital and electronic employee records.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including:Preparing job advertisements and postings, Identifying candidates and conducting reference checks & Scheduling interviews and issuing employment contracts.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of compensation and benefits documentation.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (e.g., absences, bonuses, leave records).
  • Prepare HR-related documents, including appointment letters, confirmation letters, and appraisal letters.
  • Conduct employee orientations and maintain updated records for new hires.
  • Handle termination processes, including paperwork and conducting exit interviews.
  • Coordinate training activities to ensure smooth execution and proper documentation in compliance with ISO requirements.
  • Process HRDF claims for training programs.
  • Address employee-related matters such as: Performance management, Compensation and benefits, Hostel management & Manpower arrangements and disciplinary issues.
  • Administer work-related passes, including applications and renewals for foreign workers.
  • Liaise with government bodies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
