Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee To assist underwriters in underwriting all lines of Retail & SME risks including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing transactions. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines. Regularly collect, compile and analyze market info to share with the team.Primary Responsibilities
• Assist underwriters in underwriting all lines of Retail & SME risks including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing transactions
•Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines
•Regularly collect, compile and analyze market info to share with the team
•Tracking, reporting and analyzing team’s referrals, backlogs and other productivity and efficiency related management requirements
•Be the digital ambassador of the team
•Maintain product, system and process knowledge
•Attend relevant product and skill courses to develop professional knowledge and skills
•Develop good working relationships with and provide quality professional services to external customers and internal stakeholders
•Ensure timely communication with relevant stakeholders in respect to processing queries
•Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases
•Key Performance Indicator: Deliver business results by allocated intermediaries
•Key Performance Indicator: Meeting all operational KPIs
•Key Performance Indicator: Risk awareness and governance
Preferred Competencies/Skills
• Strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills
•Sound PC skills and fast learner in computer programs
Preferred Education Specifics
• Tertiary education
Preferred Experience
• Minimum 3+ years of underwriting experience in insurance business together with relevant policy documentation handling experience
Preferred Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of the insurance industry
•Good understanding of process and procedures
