Description
- Responding to any electrical breakdowns related to solar PV system. Initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions within the period stated in Service Level Agreement.
- Planning and undertaking preventive maintenance activities to comply with the Scope of Work agreed with the client.
- Managing and review daily work schedule of technicians.
- Verify all the maintenance outcomes performed by technicians and contractors. Ensure that the countermeasures applied are in accordance with the standards, procedures and specifications allowed.
- Provide technical reports for any breakdown, corrective maintenance, and periodic maintenance performed, including reports for warranty and insurance claim purposes.
- Communicate effectively with authorities, engineering consultants, competent persons, contractors, vendors and clients during projects phase and service warranty period to build positive long-term relationships.
- Monitoring system performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical performance reports.
- Creating maintenance procedures related to the specific tasks, according to site conditions.
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation.
- Performing risk assessments according to the specific maintenance process.
- Manage, maintain, and sustain stocks of spares and equipment.
- Manage ad-hoc projects for performance improvement purposes by conducting project technical studies, site survey, design, and preparing cost estimation.
- Determine project schedule by studying project planning and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
- Liaising with Sales, Design, Licensing and Procurement department, provide technical support and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Provide project progress and project completion reports.
- Review project technical information and installation quality prior to start Defect Liability Period and service warranty.
- Provide technical and non-technical supports in developments of in-house platforms for internal process improvements.
- Gather information on design failure, installations quality, or materials quality issue, and provide constructive feedback to Project Management team for future improvements.
- Prepare goals and objectives, as well as providing necessary trainings and exposures to new hires.
Requirements
- Possess 1 year of working experience in electrical installations or maintenance of solar PV projects.
- Possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in Solar PV system design and PV System will be an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge on electrical theory and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
- Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally as well as written).
- Physically and mentally strong and fit, able to do multi-task and work in fast pace environment.
- Comfortable to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
- Possess valid driving license D, and able to travel or relocate.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
