Electrician

1〕Responsible for maintenance of all the electrical motors on ship i.e. engine room and on deck. 2)Incharge of maintenance of all switchboard including main switchboard including main SWitchboard and emergency switchboard. 3〕Responsible for maintenance of firedetector and fire alarm system. 4〕To maintain all the ship’s alarm system. 5〕Responsible for the electronic system onboard ship, 6〕Responsible for the ship’s navigation alights and the navigational equipment. 7〕ResponsibIe for all 一Emergency batteries for alarm and lights; ーLife boat batteries; ーBatteries for emergency generator; -Others batteries file onboard. 8〕Responsible for maintaining refrigeration unit in the engine room. 9)To take care of air-conditioning unit of the vessel. 10)Responsible for carrying out routine inspections and record keeping of all maintenance records, 11)Responsible for proper labeling of a11 eIectrical related equipment. 12〕Electricalo responsible for maintaining refrigerated containers carried on container ship 13〕 Responsible for cargo and engine room cranes electrical system. 14〕 To carry out routine maintenance for main engine alarms and trips along with the chief engineer 15) During the time of maneuvering, he has to be present in t:he engine room along with other engineers to tackle any kind of electrical and other emergencies. 16) He has to assist ship’s engineer and deck officer in all kind of electrical problems, 17〕Ensure the PMS related to electrical and DP equipment is well maintained and ready for Operations at all time. 18) To keep accurate records and update vessel electrical/electronic equipment’s operational Status.
