Production Assistant Manager / Senior Executive

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HOD (Head of Department) to oversee and manage all aspects of our production operations. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily production activities to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. • Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands. • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication. • Monitor and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Ensure adherence to HSE (health, safety, and environmental) regulations. • Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to maintain a high level of productivity. • Manage WIP (work-in-progress) levels and coordinate with Production Planner for timely availability of raw materials. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary. • Prepare and present production performance in monthly management meeting. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Veterinary Science, Engineering or related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production management within the pharmaceutical or veterinary pharmaceutical industry. • Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO9001 and other regulatory requirements. • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and basic exposure to automation / autonomation / digitization projects. • Strong organizational leadership, communication, team and cost management skills. • Knowledge in Lean, TPM, SPC and other quality related tools is added advantage.
