Job Responsibilities

  • To maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality, performance and inventories.
  • To source products from overseas suppliers.
  • To negotiate with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.
  • To process Purchase Orders, Letter of Credits, Marine Insurance and all related documentation.
  • To liaise with suppliers on the delivery status of each outstanding order.
  • To ensure all delivery by mills/suppliers are in good order and condition.
  • To liaise with shipping and logistic department on shipments and deliveries.
  • To discuss on non-conformance issues with respective departments and suppliers and take corrective action.
  • To process payments (TT payment, Marine insurance premium payment, etc..).
  • Any other duties and responsibility as and when necessary at ad-hoc basis.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of relevant experience are preferred; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A committed team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and meticulous for detail.
  • High integrity and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
