Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Specialist to drive business success through innovative marketing and communications strategies across Malaysia and Singapore. This role involves crafting and executing comprehensive plans that enhance brand visibility, align with business objectives, and leverage all relevant channels to engage audiences effectively. By creating impactful campaigns and strategic messaging, you will play a key role in strengthening market presence and delivering measurable results. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business in Asia. The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing and implementing innovative marketing and communication strategies that align with overall business objectives, driving measurable results in Malaysia and Singapore. • Designing, executing, and managing multi-channel marketing & communication campaigns (digital, social media, print, events, etc.) to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and demand generation. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to boost brand visibility and reputation through earned media opportunities. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including industry marketing, sales, and regional leadership, to ensure alignment of messaging and delivery of impactful sales enablement materials. • Leading internal communication initiatives to foster engagement, alignment, and morale by ensuring consistent, transparent messaging across the region. • Overseeing the development and localization of high-quality marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, videos, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and resonance with target audiences. • Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and continuously improve outcomes. • Staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously elevate marketing and communication efforts.
Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 8 years of solid track record in marketing and communications roles, in but not limited to energy, technology and consulting industry.
- The ability to develop and implement long term marketing and communication strategies aligned with business objectives is essential.
- Candidates should be innovative and creative, capable of developing impactful marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Able to demonstrate practical application of digital marketing and social media management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information, identify strategic opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations.
- Proactive and self-driven attitude, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, are essential for effective internal and external messaging.
