KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement training programs for new and existing housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to enhance performance and service quality.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in daily operations and supervision of housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the hotel's standards.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate ordering as needed.
  • Perform inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or guest complaints promptly.
  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all cleaning procedures comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Train staff on proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain records of staff training, performance, and operational reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for the housekeeping department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping at 4-star hotels
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
