Senior Manager - Human Resource
Job Summary:
The HR Manager is a key strategic partner to the business, responsible for leading and managing the entire spectrum of human resources functions. This role focuses on aligning HR strategies with business goals, fostering a positive organizational culture, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR practices across all levels of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR and Workforce Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the business group’s objectives.
- Identify and develop workforce plans to support the company’s growth and operational needs.
Organizational Development:
- Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and drive initiatives for enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Payroll, Leave Management & HR Budgeting:
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll and statutory contributions.
- Manage employee attendance, leave records, and HR budgeting in collaboration with finance and management to plan future HR activities and initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding:
- Lead the talent acquisition process, from strategy development to execution, ensuring timely closure of vacancies.
- Drive employer branding efforts to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
Talent Management and Development:
- Oversee talent development, retention strategies, and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Implement initiatives to nurture and retain high-potential employees.
Industrial and Employee Relations:
- Manage industrial and employee relations matters, including handling grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflicts.
- Provide guidance to management on complex employee relations issues.
Performance Management:
- Lead performance management programs, including appraisals, performance improvement plans, and feedback sessions.
- Ensure that performance management processes are fair, transparent, and aligned with company goals.
Compensation & Benefits Management:
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits to propose competitive programs that attract and retain top talent. Oversee of base pay, incentives, and other compensation programs.
HR Transformation and Project Management:
- Lead or support HR transformation initiatives, including process improvements and the implementation of new HR projects.
- Ensure that HR processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the latest industry best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in full scope of Human Resources Management or HR Business Partnering.
- Good exposure in both strategic and operational HR matters.
- Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, resourceful, driven and result oriented.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
