Job Purpose

Assist the Safety & Security Manager in planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all the company properties, tenant, guest, employees and clientele to ensure that safety and security procedures are followed.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • To organize and supervise that each team carry out their tasks as per the standard operating procedure.
  • To maintain associates’ professionalism, discipline and performance levels while executing security tasks.
  • The protection of persons and property and the prevention of crime.
  • To ensure that all areas are properly and adequately secured at all times.
  • Maintain courteous relations with guest, supplier and associates.
  • Conduct investigation on and inform Superior or Management of incidents involving disturbance, accidents, loss, theft, etc. occurring in the premises and prepare necessary reports and take directive from management.
  • To resolve any security issues on property.
  • To do checking every shift on the CCTV / PA / ERT equipment to make sure it is functioning.
  • To ensure all equipment and tools provided are in working order.
  • To report on malfunctioning security equipment and to alert on routine equipment servicing and maintenance.
  • To ensure that proper control and handling of Visitor / Vendors / Contractors document.
  • To check all firefighting equipment monthly and give report on the condition.
  • To report to Security Manager and other relevant authorities immediately on major security breaches and incidents on site.
  • Attend training course and such other course as may be directed from time to time by the Management.
  • Arrive on site at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the shift and not to leave the site until the replacement arrives.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Superior/Management.

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Education: · SPM or equivalent or working experience in a luxury 4 or 5 star hotel or serviced apartments environment.
  • Experience3-4 years’ experience in similar industry.
  • Skills/Specialized knowledge: Supervisory, Details, Structured, Organizing, Coordination.
  • Ability to adapt to company systems for daily operations and communication
  • Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
