Job description
Prepare full set of accounts in compliance with MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard), Tax regulation and Group policies with opportunity to enhance control and quality of reporting
Ensure timely closing of accounts, statutory audit and tax submission within the stipulated time schedule
Oversees the cash flow monthly and corporate secretarial as require
Prepare forecast / budget and cash flow projection
To ensure that the Company complies with the statutory and JMH Group requirements in the area of Finance

Responsibilities
Prepare management accounts, performance analysis in a timely and accurately
Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
Assist in the production of forecasting and budget & business plan
Prepare and ensure compliance with all finance filling requirement (e.g. SST, Withholding tax and Income Tax reports)
Annual closing of books of accounts and completion of statutory audit as per timetable
Calculate commission & rebate quarterly
Calculate monthly Royalty as per licence agreement
Review the completeness of supporting documents for payment and approval
Ensure payment to correct payee and amount
Ensure timely collection and comply with group guidance on credit policy
In charge regards to Corporate Secretary matters
Provide information to Tax Agent on Tax Queries and Annual Tax Computation information, including next year estimates
Provide financial information and other information for audit
As backup for Credit Controller (analysis new customer and release of sales order)
Oversee the finance team (provide feedback on career growth plan)
Comply with Group HSE policy & procedures
Prepare any reports required by Management or Government Authorities and assist the management in implementing systems and procedures to improve finance operations
Ensure all financial records and documents are maintained as stated in Record Retention policy
Ensure compliance of local laws (including taxation laws) related to running of business and mercantile laws applicable to the Group
Manage direct report: Accountant Executive and Credit Controller
Handle other tasks that may be assigned by Management as the need arises.

Skills required
The jobholder should have post qualification experience of 5 to 6 years with an exposure to manufacturing organisations.
Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
A strong team player and willing to share responsibilities as a team
Possess a pleasant personality with a “willing to learn” attitude

Educational requirements
Possess minimum a Bachelor Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/Finance and/or Professional Qualification (ACCA/MIA/MICPA)
